Portland has a lot of people who live outside. We call them our “outdoor friends.”
What started from a place of compassion has developed into an initiative to practically and consistently demonstrate God’s love.
Each week we set out on skateboards along the I-205 path in teams of 2-3 people to give out socks, food, water, etc. These resources help, but pale in comparison to the importance of building authentic relationships by loving them face-to-face.

Dream Big City
Dream Big City aims to strengthen communities and reach the next generation by creating safe, fun, and inclusive environments that connect people through physical activities, creative arts, and music. The two initiatives — Fam Jam and Giving in PDX — focus on youth, culture, and community.
Fam Jam
Year-round block parties throughout the city that bring the community together through skateboarding, games, music, art, and free food. All ages and people are welcome!
Giving in PDX
Working with local non-profits, businesses, and big-hearted people throughout our city, we help under-resourced kids and teens have a wonderful Christmas by giving them meaningful and generous gifts.
Portland Rescue Mission
Since 1949 Portland Rescue Mission has been here to give hope and restore life to men, women, and children struggling with hunger, homelessness, and addiction. We are so blessed to partner with them!
